My skyrim has COMPLETELY stopped working. after playing vanilla for a long while I decided to try out a few mods, I got nexus mod manger and installed skyUI one of the most basic mods. after doing do when I tried to load my game it crashed not even a second after loading. I though my save may have been corrupted do to moving my files over to my C:\games\skyrim , after that I deleted all my saves. I re-opened skyrim and tried to start a new game, it just sat at the start screen with the dragon symbol. I than deleted all the mods and launched the game again, nothing changed. I looked over the web and found nothing relevant to this. please help?

So your game is legal?

- Verify game files in Steam

- Make sure you installed SkyUI correctly by reading the mod page (--you need SKSE as well, newest version, which only works on newest version of Skyrim)

I've seen that problem with saved game corruption. If it IS a corrupted save, try renaming (or deleting) the latest save file's extension to something Skyrim doesn't use (like *.bak) so it will revert to the previously saved game on your next load attempt.

I'm very sure it is not a legal copy, and how would I verify it in steam if it wasn't a steam download?

Banned - TVD.

Wait, you said it *wasn't* a legal copy?

You said it *wasn't* a legal copy... The Nexus does not support pirates.

And it's impossible to use most mods without a legitimate copy of Skyrim. Pirates are SOL.

"I play on hacked game becus I no want pay, your mods now stops working.. QQ pls halp meh"

There's no way to support a hacked game because

1. troubleshooting steps are not available, as they might involve steam

2. you run on a modified game exe, so who knows what that does

3. your game version does not exist officially

4. I guess you'll be banned from nexus pretty soon so you cant reply to any messages :P

Goodluck.
