freana Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 My skyrim has COMPLETELY stopped working. after playing vanilla for a long while I decided to try out a few mods, I got nexus mod manger and installed skyUI one of the most basic mods. after doing do when I tried to load my game it crashed not even a second after loading. I though my save may have been corrupted do to moving my files over to my C:\games\skyrim , after that I deleted all my saves. I re-opened skyrim and tried to start a new game, it just sat at the start screen with the dragon symbol. I than deleted all the mods and launched the game again, nothing changed. If it IS a corrupted save, try renaming (or deleting) the latest save file's extension to something Skyrim doesn't use (like *.bak) so it will revert to the previously saved game on your next load attempt. You said it *wasn't* a legal copy... The Nexus does not support pirates.And it's impossible to use most mods without a legitimate copy of Skyrim. Pirates are SOL. QQ pls halp meh" There's no way to support a hacked game because1. troubleshooting steps are not available, as they might involve steam2. you run on a modified game exe, so who knows what that does3. your game version does not exist officially4.
