Krisis1451
Yeah.. Maybe a stupid idea to Oblivion Hardcore fans.... But why not? Plan would involve changing all npc hair styles to ren or soya, faces to those of soya perhaps. Adding custom weapons to certain npcs, new clothing to town folk and guards (e.g. shiki armor set, skeletonk's armor, hentai's armor snd clothing...). SirMagus
I'd go with you on that. Also as you can see in my signature, my first 2 mods. Kunai and Naruto Headbands. Might come in handy thinking about the overhaul. At least it's a start.
Vagrant0
The biggest limitation is really that there aren't many outfits that are usable as replacements for every vanilla outfit for both genders. And most of what is available tends to have limited usage rights. This is especially true when some armor pieces like chain, iron, steal, are re-used both within each set, and for guard or guild outfits. Also, as most clothing and armor mods tend to be full body, or legs and torso, there are only a few sets which that modded armor could be used for. Even if it was desired for every set to be gender exclusive (all steel using male meshes, all leather using female meshes), you would still have many gaps where there is nothing suitable to replace a certain set. Such a mod would probably want compatibility with other mods, so you are kinda limited to just changing what the armor definition links to, and can't just go around altering every NPC. Although altering individual NPCs does end up being a bit easier, since you can specify specific costumes for each NPC, it also ends up being quite a bit more work, and having problems anywhere a leveled list is to be used.
