Yellow Boxes everywhere?

First time modding ever. I'm currently attempting to get the mods I have working- so close!

But of course, a problem I can't fix. I believe it's caused by Francesco's mod, but of course I can't be sure. I see yellow '!' boxes all over the Imperial city's countryside. Now, don't quote me on this, but I think they're spawn points. They just kinda sit there, and occasionally the game tells me that there are animals in them. My personal beta tester (12 year old brother) also found people with these shapes over their heads? And of course, people walking around without bodies. I expected those.

I use Wrye Bash, OBSE, and BOSS and have a pretty basic handle on how they work. My load order is...

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. I'm sure I'm doing many, many things wrong.

What you are seeing is the infamous missing mesh symbol. Meaning that one of the mods you have installed is making changes to those objects. For some reason though..the new meshes for those objects are not being detected. It could be a bad file path in a mod or it could be a mod conflict. I have used Francescos for a long time now and never had incident, but there are a few things in your load order which could potentially conflict with one another.

 

 

The best way to begin sorting things out is to start removing mods one by one. Go in game and take a look after removing a mod to see if the problems disappear. A slow process, but the only sure fire way to find your problem.
