Ryuukage0101 Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 A simple question. Do anyone know how to reset your values(to original values) in the ini file? :)
Werne Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Just delete it and the game will generate a new one with default values.
Ryuukage0101 Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) hmm to be more precise I want the orignal values of following; fLightLODDefaultStartFade=10240.0fLightLODRange=10240.0fLightLODMinStartFade=10240.0fLightLODMaxStartFade=10240.0fShadowLODDefaultStartFade=200.0fShadowLODRange=200.0fShadowLODMinStartFade=100.0fShadowLODMaxStartFade=1000.0fSpecularLODDefaultStartFade=10240.0fSpecularLODRange=10240.0fSpecularLODMinStartFade=10240.0fSpecularLODMaxStartFade=10240.0 Edited July 10, 2013 by Ryuukage0101
Werne Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Rename the current ini to, let's say, Fallout3.ini.old (or Fallout_Prefs.ini.old), start the game to generate a new one, copy/paste the above values from the new ini to the old one, delete the new ini and rename the old one to Fallout3.ini (or Fallout_Prefs.ini) again. And that's how you reset only certain values. Also, here's a suggestion, you should make a backup of your inis each time you go to edit them, to avoid problems like this in the future. I learned that when I had the same problem you have now.
