groundmammal
I have managed to teach myself how to use blender, CS, NifSkope, and Gimp, and beyond all expectations have created a set of armour that works in-game  . To finish off I am trying to learn how to script but my brain has melted. :wacko:This is what I would like to do, I have created a weapon harness in 5 variants - Side weapon, side weapon and arrows, back weapon, back weapon and arrows, and finally just the arrows. I am trying to compile a script for the armour so that when you equip a side weapon the side weapon harness is automatically equipped (you can see where this is going) and to change the harness depending on which combination of weapon and/or ammo you equip. I have studied many tutorials and wiki pages about script commands, form ID's, additem, and if variables and such, but I have confused myself to no end, Have I bitten off more than I can chew? :ermm:I believe that this script is possible (obviously I could be totally wrong), I just have no idea how to compile it properly, so please any help advice, an example of a similar script would be greatly appreciated, as if I can get this script to work it will be a standard to all outfit mods that I release. Please help. Just a note the harness is similar to my mod Elven Princess outfit, all it does is eliminate the unsightly gap between the item and body so the form for the IF # is equipped is a generic code for side weapon etc not a specific item just if the slot is taken up (I hope I am making sense here) Thanks
NemesisTheWarlock
Can you maybe post what you've got so far so we can perhaps see where you're going wrong?
thefinn
Just a suggestion - Chesko's Frostfall simply MUST have hooks to detect what kind of armour you are wearing - and when you take some off and put armour on - in order to change your exposure rate correctly. I'd maybe start there ?
