Item suddenly changing its weight

Using Hunterborn SE. It provides recipe to create Mammoth Jerky, which is Hunterborn's item (XX22776D). The problem is - this item may have 0.4 weight per piece, or whole 1, seems randomly.

 

As soon as I launch SSE and load a save - item has its weight set to 0.4. But gets extra weight (up to 1 per piece) soon after, in around a minute. If i reload a save - weight remains the same. No matter if I just load the save via system menu, quit to main menu and then load a save, or just hit F9 to load quicksave. So it's not savefile-related. If I don't care and continue playing - weight of this item may revert back to 0.4, then again to 1.
