Morgwynn
It would be cool if someone made an Honest Abe Hat to go with the Honest Abe beard in the character creation menu. I've tried to use the G.E.C.K. to make a mod of my own but I just couldn't get the hang of using it.
devinpatterson
Sure I'll whip you up one, I made a similiar hat for Alpha's robot companion. pic; http://i1066.photobucket.com/albums/u404/devinlpatterson/alphaPic_zpsa3ea98d8.jpg

devinpatterson
OK, here is your hat; http://i1066.photobucket.com/albums/u404/devinlpatterson/Lincoln_zpsc8dfd544.jpg original lincolns hat from fo3 (texture included in FONV bsa) and a new one (texture based on tuxedo hat). Both have the same abilities as the FO3 hat (+1 int, +5% speach). Just unrar the file you want and drop the esp and bsa file in your data directory. Then select in your launcher of choice. In the console type player.additem xx000add 1 code for both old and new mod is; player.additem xx000add 1 If you don't know how to access the console, let me know and I'll add them automatically for you. Rigged, just like the tuxedo hat (no egm file), but that shouldn't be a problem. Morgwynn
That hat looks good but if you have 1 equipped and 1 extra in the backpack it gets a weird look about it. But for some reason my characters hair disappears when I put the hat on. Edited July 22, 2013 by Morgwynn
Morgwynn
This is what happens when you have more than 1 in your inventory.
devinpatterson
I have no clue on the texture change, you aren't running both of them (lincolnHat.esp & lincolnHatNew.esp) are you? Try this one for the new hat and see if it fixes the hair problem.
Morgwynn
Thanks for the help  Yeah I had both in my inventory at the time, once I dropped one the texture turn back to normal. So I just put one in a box or locker until I want to switch them around. Edited July 22, 2013 by Morgwynn
