Yeah, sure, read this noob to pro tutorial http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro

And decent mods are created by using the following tools of the trade: understanding, diligence, the will to learn and experiment, hours of searching for resources and tutorials, sleepless nights, hard work, lots of boring clicking/repetitive tasks and some creative thinking.

i prefer not to be given links i like being taught by someone not a tutorial

Then I wish you good luck, you will need it!

(oh, and by the way, I doubt there has been ever a modder that has been actually taught modding by someone. Come on, get real... )

I started modding not long ago.

What I did was to watch some video tutorials from the blender website.

Here: Blender Video Tutorials

Then I watched some of LHammonds Video Tutorials.

You can find his video tutorials on tesnexus.

Here is his profile and files, find the vids there: LHammonds' Profile

And I had never used a 3D program before.

So if I can do it, you can too,

but you gotta have a little patience to watch the video tutorials,

and you also have to be patient when modding.

Experiment a little, try to find out where things are and what they do.

Good Luck!
