bgrunge Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 Hi guys, I'm looking for someone willing to make a weapon mod if I make the model. The idea is to replace the custom .44 you get from the violin lady with vash the stampede's revolver. Obviously, it doesnt have a scope so that could be fixed, so i was thinking if it was made 100% accurate in non-vats that would balance out the lack of zooming. Otherwise, I think other stats (such as damage, VATS accuracy, etc.) could remain exactly the same. Just got the idea last night and threw together a quick model. I was going to say I've written a guide to get your model from a 3d modeling program into GECK, but that's for Max, and I suspect that Blender is very different from all the other programs. From what I gather, it even creates different Nif record than Max. Anyways, you'll need to find a tutorial that deals with blender (a couple out there) and getting it in-game. No clue how to do it i am not a texture or 3d Model type person, I am stopping by to tell you not to get discouraged hehe you might be able to figure out the problem that he cant. Reason i say this is because i helped someone that is IMO 10X better then me at Modding and all i did was ask him a question that he didn't know the answer to and made a "well what if" statement and he was like OMFG why didn't i think of that. So don't sell yourself short just because one person cant do no matter the experience it is all about the way you look at it.
