looking for someone to implement a model

hey guys, I went back and did a little more work on it. Here's a WIP:

Still looking for a modder; If I can't find a modder to implement it, I'll prolly take a crack at it myself.

 

Aw man, I wish I could. I was going to end up doing a Vash revolver replacement anyway, but I just started modding Fallout 3, and my 3 Modelling skills are loooong out of date. It looks great, though, so I'll definitely keep my eyes on this.

It's gonna be in an .obj, so it'll need converting to .nif. The normal map is done, the texture needs a bit more work. I want to grunge it up juuuuuuust a bit more. (Although I planned to offer a neat and clean version too) Also, what maps does FO3 want? Do I need to make a spec map, materials map, etc? Those arent hard to do of course, I'm just wonderin'. Also, what polycount does your average fallout 3 weapon have? I need to know if I need to clean the model up at all.

gun is done now, and sized to the shotgun. I emailed the guy who offered, but he hasnt gotten back to me. Reinhart, were you interested? I can pass it along in .obj format, or in .nif, with the .nif plugin I downloaded for Maya. I can submit textures in any form people would like.

 

Anyways, I was also wondering if it would be possible to mix animations from the shotgun, and revolver? the shotgun reload animation is important, but so is the cylinder rotation and hammer action of the .44.
