[WIP/REQ]tactical vest

Hey, i posted this over at the bethsoft forums, and thought i'd post it here too. I've been working on a small mod for Fallout3, a "ciras" vest loosely based on the MGS vest that Solid Snake wears. the model is finished with a normal bake from a high res version, but the texture is still a bit of a work in progress. A m8 of mine was going to try and compile it for me so i could see what it looks like and make adjustments accordingly, but he's really busy, so i'll be releasing the files publicly here. I'm sorry I don't know how to properly convert it to a nif, hopefully someone can use the 3ds or Obj.

 

as you can see from the second image, i used the female wasteland clothing 05 mesh as a base, and worked around it. I flattened her chest quite a bit so it would be a more realistic fit, and I added the sleeves and camo pattern just for fun. you will have to use the edited mesh in order for the vest to fit :( also i don't think it will fit on males.

bumping... can anybody at least open the default wasteland 05 outfitf.nif in nifscope or something and see if they can replace the default arms mesh with my modified one, and then bring in the vest? i don't know how to do this, nor could i figure out how to bring in the texture information for the vest and mag. i'm also worried that maybe the mags needs to be separated if you can't use mat IDs like you can in some engines...
