Installing mods ith the override folder doesn't work...

I put them in the correct place where the mod authors say:

C:\Users\Me\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

Yet it refuses to work. I also tried adding them to

D:\Origin\Dragon Age\packages\core\override

But that didn't work either.

What can i do? they worked just fine this way before the re-install of my laptop...

What mods?

Is your Windows Documents folder in the default location on the C:/ drive, or have you moved it to another location?

Did you create the 'override' folder in Documents, or did you run the game once so the game could create it? (Allowing the game to create the folder assures that the folder is in the correct location.)

Override mods should not be installed to subfolders in the either the 'Origin' or 'Origin Games' folder. They belong in the [drive letter]:\Users\[username]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder.

Without knowing what mods are involved, I can't offer any help beyond the above.

https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4462

https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/816

https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/9

https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1601

These are the ones. I deleted the manually made override folder, started a new game, and the game did make an override folder for itself, but the mods put in to it still do not work.

Skip the Fade isn't to my knowledge an override, it's a mod that should be installed using either DAUpdater, DAModder or DA:O Modmanager.
The armor mod you point to may require the Proportions Fixes from tmp7704, depending on which file/s you downloaded.

Also, as balmz says, try using Dain's Fixpack. GT is somewhat outdated, unfortunately.

No Starting Abilities is a very old mod, made for a much earlier, unpatched version of the game. It may not work at all any longer. (It is also introduces a healing bug... it's a good idea to always read the user comments on mods for bug reports before installing anything.)

A better option for customizing builds is Advanced Party. It works in the current 1.05 build of the game.

As has been mentioned already, don't use gastank's Fixpack. It is out of date, unsupported, does not work at all in some cases, and introduces new bugs. I also recommend instead using Dain's Fixes, which addresses many of the same gameplay issues and is well-supported by the modder.

Can you post a screencap of Neutral Female Armor 'not working'? It's simple replacer for Bioware meshes... an absolutely foolproof mod when installed correctly.

Assuming you are using the manual install option of Skip the Fade, did you actually play as far the midpoint of Broken Circle, which is when you first enter the Fade for that quest? (Skip the Fade does not affect the Mage origin story arc.) If you are using the 'normal' DAzip version of Skip the Fade, you must install that as you would any other DAzip mod, with daupdater.exe or a mod manager like DAOModManager or DAModder.

Thanks for the recommendations, I'll try them with the DAupdater.exe thingy.

As for the female armors not working well... The stuff the charachters wear is the normal vanilla looking armor, basically as if i didn't have the mod installed at all.
