Suilebhain
That is all the idiot guard would say to me, even after I moved as far back as I could. Could COBL be interfering with his script? RGO?
dezdimona
are you using a custom race? if so you need the custom race fix to start the game.
AzirAphale001
If you've gotten as far as being told to go to the window then you don't need a custom race fix. What mods do you have installed?

Suilebhain
Heheh, I also tried just making an Imperial to see if that was it, but alas, no. Mods - too numerous to mention (plus I am not near my game PC at the moment).
sool32
So then it has to be you're mods. Also did you try using BOSS?

Suilebhain
Do you have a link for BOSS? Right now I use OBMM, Wrye Bash, TESGecko, and TES4View for whatever seems to work, but those are the only ones I know about. I recall something from Morrowind that would detect conflicts and would even allow you to delete duplicate cells with the click of a button, like from when people make a mod and save the whole Oblivion.esm into their mod, but I haven't found anything like that in Oblivion. Perhaps BOSS is what I am looking for. Thanks for all responses! I am trying to learn...really I am.

Yes, I learned that when I first started playing and installing every cosmetic mod and face replacer I could find and my default eyes all turned black!
