Vafthrudnir
I turned on my PC today and tried to start Steam. Received fatal error: could not load module 'bin/vgui2_s.dll' Looked it up online. Seems to be an OS issue for XP, or incorrectly moved Steam files. I have neither XP nor have I moved anything. I run Win 7 64 bit. Never had problems with steam before now. Been using for 2+ years with this PC Where is this .dll supposed to be? I can't even find it. I'm in a state of high to severe pissoff over his one. WTF, overAny help appreciated Edited July 15, 2013 by Vafthrudnir

milogrim
Same here. I use Win7 and didn't move Steam. I did however do a system restore and the problem started right after that. Your solution worked, glad I tried it before the suggested Steam fix, which looks scary.
