Skyrim SE, hyphen key closes console

In Skyrim SE.

 

As far as I know I have a standard Logitech English US keyboard.

I have a Mod added quest that seems to lack a trigger related to collecting notes, I found all the notes but the trigger didn't go. I found the quest stage ID to fix it in console - "YW_MDF" but the _ underscore / - hyphen key closes the console. (yes the tilde key opens and closes the console).

I am unable to enter the quest ID to advance the quest. can anyone please suggest a workaround / or the change to make that normalises hyphen key in console? Thanks for your reading this post.

I can only offer a generic troubleshooting idea

• Check all your MCMs for hotkey assignments
• Check any ini files with hotkey assignments.
• Finally, if a recent artifact, check up at any newer mod's modpage and see if there might be some mention of a statically assigned hotkey
