DogtoothCG Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 SO, i've got a fully modelled, uv'd, and textured mesh, HOWEVER, whenever i apply the texture in a 3d program (3ds max or nifskope) the mesh always shows up black, unless its in 3ds max in which case there is a stretched part of some wierd texture showing up on the back, i cant figure out what it is, but the uv map is still perfectly partitioned to the texture, nothing is wrong, but it wont display the texture. any help at all would be greatly appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SpeedyB64 Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 I had a similar problem with several meshes, the lighting was all messed up. What I did was: Open it in nifskope select the mesh rightclick on it and go to mesh->Face Normals That corrects the lighting on the mesh. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
