DemonicPuppy
Hi, I have been working on a high density housing mod for workers, and it's going well, but I had a question before posting any files online: I used the docklands buildings as models, and I wouldn't want to make DLC content available through my mod. I know the .cfg files are useless without the map files, so it wouldn't work if they are not already in the game files, byt as I own the DLCs, I don't know if they are in the game files regardless of DLC ownership. Also, I am not totally satisfied with the dockands buildings for that purpose, so if anyone wants to hop in with models, they are more than welcome. I still have some tweaking to do to make the mod "upload worthy". Iit is fine for my personnal use, but there is still some minor issues and I didn't spend much time on ingame text. The main issues are balance (I am not sure of how consumption works with higher housing capacity, although the next game update will likely fix that), some ground map orientation in models, and automated orientation of building (A bit like the investor and engineer houses do. I tried to get inspiration in Fishboss's Old Town mod, since they made it work in their mod, but I still had to rotate buildings manually in game.) I also need to check how to credit the modders I got inspiration from (Fishboss, Maug's Projekt, etc.). Thank your in advance, and I'll keep you posted if I get any progress on the mod. Have a nice day/evening, DemonicPuppy
