If so can you explain to me what you did? I tried it once with a street. Same as you I just renamed the original nif (z.B. street -> street_lod) and copied the tga+ures. That worked in the way, that I saw a street in my LOD, but some parts of the street had white textures. Why, I dont know. It ends, that I just painted a landscape asphalt texture same as bethesda does, this isn't perfect, but better that a half-white street. I guess the problem was, that my created street_lod.nif had too much lightning settings, but as I said, I am not that skilled in 3d moddeling to figure it out. For your missing texture problem: just read the message, that appear. source\textures tga\?????\Building 02.tga <--------------- you need this file inside the folder, that is said. You get the file from your texture.bsa by converting the dds into a tga. The source folder has to be located OUTSIDE your F3 Game dir Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I used the "take a ride" option to travel around in DC. After that, the entry for the border region was gone and it was not possible to get it back. I deactivated the hole mod and activated it again. I took the car again and the border region entry was back again. I used it and it worked- I got the key for the fleet base and traveling to my own maps was possible too. Then, back in DC, I tried to use the speed boat to go to the seaport. There I used the the bigger boat to go to the ocean- here the problems started. I was on the sea, I could go to all other sea places on the worldmap but I couldn't enter any of them. After this I traveled back to DC, to go to the car... I used the car and well, now I am stuck. I am standing near the car and I can travel to every place in DC, but I can not move the player. I couldn't Imagine why Take a Ride should disappear alone, coz this Menu Option dont have any condition on it, so as long as the menu appear, take a Ride should too. I was on the sea, I could go to all other sea places on the worldmap but I couldn't enter any of them. The Entrances to the regions are only Doors, but with a script on it. So I only could imagine, that you did something, that make this script dont work... I'll check this script. This Doorscript is something, that worked for me over weeks without make a problem once. So I wonder, what it could be. The Script for ShipDoors is very simple, so I really wonder how there could be a bug at all. All Shipdoors use the same script and have the same scriptline. "set globalvalue to xactivate Player" thats it... Edit: I've been trough this Script again, and there is nothing wrong, I am pretty sure. After this I traveled back to DC, to go to the car... One could say, that I am stuck in the "car is ready to move, choose your destination"-part. You are stucked after Fast Travel or Before it? Your Movement is disabled after choosing "Take a Ride" and enabled again, when you use a Fast Travel Destination. To enable Movement without Fast Travel somewhere, go into sneak mode. This is explained in the Player Instructions too. I need to disable Movements before Fast Travel, coz I get the use of Fast Travel Marker with GetDistance. So, if your movements are disabled BEFORE Fast Travel, everything is right, if it is still disable after use the Fast Travel, something is wrong. When this stucked next to car happens, please type in console "getglobalvalue driveswitch" and tell me the value you get then. Edit: I check this out, and I encountered it too now, but I am pretty sure I didn't had this with my ESP Version. Anyway, if you go into sneak mode, your movements are enabled again, but this really seam to be some kind of bug. Is it possibble to completely disable the Washington DC wasteland and make the whole game startin GTS, so that new games would start in some GTS locations? Can modders control the random encounters and have their own creatures and people appear in them? How about having encounter change increase with certain creatures when approaching certain destinations? Like when you are travelling towards an active military base, the change of being encountered with powerarmored soldiers (Hostile or not) would increase. Most of them are not really easy I guess... I should add more ammo drops in this zone. Would that help? Or are they in general too heavy? About this drive to the border thing... it has a condition. It only appears if a global value is set right. Normaly it is set right, when you travel back to DC. When Drive to the Borders is gone inside dc, please type into console "getglobalvalue gtsdcglobal" and tell me the value. It has to be 0 inside of DC and it must be 1 outside DC. If this dont work, you could get many problems. If it would be 1 inside dc, please type "set gtsdcglobal to 0" and check out if the menu point is back again. ---- About your Shipdoorproblem, this really make me confuse.... ---- I checked this stuck after Fast Travel a few times again by comparing the ESM and the ESP and it really is a fact, that this only appears with ESM. Of course I tested all this mod with my ESP, coz I can apply changes directly, I am wondering, why ESM and ESP should be different........ that would be something totally new for me. IF between ESP and ESM is a differance.... this would be definitly something really bad and who knows what other bugs only appear coz it's a ESM. A horde of... approx 10 Mirelurks was attacking me and this was a bit annoying because I needed to run backwards the hole time and shoot into the horde until the last creature was dead. Yes, I must find a balance here between challange and insane difficulty... You already meet the 20 desperate Housewifes... or 3 Deadclaws.... there are also some with a bunch of enclave, that come with deadclaw support... at all these mirelurks are some of the easy ones... I guess I will think about how to make these encounters to fit better with the players conditions. On Level 1 with a 10mm Pistol I doubt you have a chance against just one of these encounters. I think about, that it would be good to get encounters depening on the count of companions you bring and the level you are. For this version it would be always a good Idea to have some skilled companions with you. @Latexschlampe.... Oh its YOU again! Do you have some kind of black magic on your pc? :biggrin: First with your LOD and now this Shipdoorbug....
