Adding Weapon Sounds?

If i remember correctly, i add the sounds through the sound selection window for whatever particular weapons. record the silent temp .wav, and replace it with the file i want to add.

 

but what do i do with it from there?

 

i wish i could just add sounds right to the directory and the G.E.C.K. would refresh the directory on startup.

 

Please help a brother out
