SlasherClown
I've had this idea for a while, and I'm just a gamer, not a mod creator. My idea is that a branch of the B.o.S. makes a treaty with a surviving group of Enclave personnel from the East. I'd say Searchlight Airport would be the perfect place to base them out of. Open up the buildings and put a few weapons dealers in like a little market room. I'd say 2 or 3 virtibirds on part of the runway. Maybe throw in a new armor. Like a Brotherhood variant of the Hellfire armor. New weapons like a plasma minigun? Possibly put an underground bunker in one of the buildings. Possibly create some quests for it. Like go out and get certain supplies or collect bounties. Maybe after a few quests they give the courier a virtibird airstrike designator, and if the courier does all the quests for them they show up at Hoover Dam to reinforce the courier, and at the end the courier can decide to wipe them out or let them help protect New Vegas. Maybe add an extra slide for it to the ending where they remain in New Vegas and continue to recruit members, holding the highest respect to the courier. It sounds like a lot of work but I'm sure it'll be worth it.
SlasherClown
Oh, and after a few missions they send you to the main base for the United factions. Area 51. That would be awesome. Alien armor and weapons, experimental weapons like a portable railgun that uses MF Cells, A pulse cannon (Single barrel shotgun like weapon), and Mininuke Grenades. It can be a bunch of old hangers and a few buildings. And inside the main building is the underground facility. It can have an old operation room just overflowing with stimpaks, and to explain it, put a terminal on a desk nearby with a journal entry that states they were used to keep the aliens alive. Then down the hall is where they keep the bodies of the Aliens. Then, guarded by security that you were sent to clear out is the Armory. It should be guarded by Strange Sentry Droids, colored green with a white star on their chest-plate. They should have increased health, a much higher DT than all others, and immunity to pulse weapons. Once you get inside there should be a Vault door, which you can't open but the bulk of the weapons are in it (For the Factions use). Beside the vault is a smaller armory guarded by a friendly Strange Sentry Droid. This can be made into a player home. Inside the smaller armory is a weapons trunk full of the weapons said above, with the recipe for mininuke grenades. (Tiny-Tots Mininuke and a wrench. Simply make the Mininukes small like a grenade and a smaller explosion than Mininukes but bigger than grenades.) And a locker next to the trunk with Experimental Alien-metal Power Armor. With a DT of 35 and the Helmet 10. (The armor is like 45d Power armor). It's a dark grey color and the visor for the helmet glows light green. It has perception +2. The armor is immune to pulse weapons, with major resistance to fire, poison, and radiation. Moving back to the base, inside one of the hangers is an underground hanger where the Spaceship is kept. It has Alien weapons next to it in a case but it is guarded by 5 Strange Sentry Droids. And all the way on the other side of the hanger is a locked room (Very Hard). Inside the room is Area 51 Security Armor, which is black Combat Armor Reinforced Mark 2, and an MP5 Navy that is completely black with a white star on both sides of it, and instead of 9mm rounds it uses 12.7mm rounds. Please and thank you
Crickity
Area 51 would be a sweet locale. On the ground floor it could just pre-war desks and offices, standard abandoned building style of thing. But as you descend down to the vault, the computer messages get a little heavier, the research lying around gets stranger, there are more and more sentry droids and one or two are clearly cobbled together from old ones. Find the vault, find the homestead, but there are more stairs down... keep following them and start finding more exotic weapons, advanced frankenstein energy weapons, built for longer hands. The droids have an extra arm bolted on, or components from robobrains showing. Then on the bottom floor, in a sealed medical lab, tinkering with defunct communication equipment and with surgical scars long since healed... Well who knows what you'd find. SlasherClown
To justify this mods making, They would most likely draw up this treaty because both Factions have lost a significant amount of power and have the closest beliefs to one another. betabugger
Hello SlasherClown I am currently working on an Enclave Mod right now actually. So far I created the initial quest and 6 side quests so far. What I want to do is later in my mod's mainquest line, the Enclave Remnants Faction I'm making will make alliances with the Hidden Valley Bunker Brotherhood of Steel through a treaty and team up to take over New Vegas. If you can, find anybody you know who is good in modding and please tell them if they can help me out. Thank you!
SlasherClown
@BetaBugger. I was actually thinking of a completely new faction. This way there is less chances of something not being able to work with a different mod. Plus, I don't really think that either Elder of the Hidden Valley B.o.S. would take to the treaty. McNamara is too much of a pussy and Hardin would simply want to wipe them out and take their equipment.
devinpatterson
SlasherClown, the enclave and BOS are strongly opposing philosophies (a whole dlc, broken steel, is based on it), so starting a mod like your proposing would really need a plausible scenario if you want lend credibility to it. Not that you have too, there is a s-load of crazy non lore stuff on nexus. I'm not endorsing or tanking the idea, but I just wanted to throw a scenario your way that IMHO would be the most likely in the current setting and lore. Some may agree or disagree, but if I had to contrive the scenario your outlining here, it would all hinge on head paladin Hardin. Hardin is a problem within the BOS and he has followers who are willing to kill one of their own, so they are "motivated". I don't belive the elder McNamara, would ever forge such an alliance in NV's settings. If he and his followers are banished or even worse, on the run, he may be forced to forge an alliance with some of the remnants, if he simply has no other choice/option. I'll leave it up to you what may have happened to motivate the exodus. The one thing the remnants can offer him is advanced technology. This would create a new faction as you requested (hostile to the BOS and vice versa) and would also generate some quests in re: to the BOS (and hostile/affiliated factions of the brotherhood). I would start with the remnants, as any large scale, functioning enclave outpost near by is a tough sale lore wise. Heck if there was, chances are most of the remnants (except Arcade) would be there instead of hiding out in the Mojave. Later as more remnants are brought in and your contacts increase, there's a good chance someone would have a way to reach the closest enclave outpost. I wouldn't think said outpost would be interested in heading to the Mojave so your going to have to contrive a reason for them to flee here. Perhaps under heavy attack, via the brotherhood in D.C/broken steel, some are just desperate enough fly across the country in hopes of evading their fate (just an idea, check your timeline, I think that was 3 years previous to NV's start). Then all three (BOS deserters/rebels, remnants and Enclave survivors) for a common alliance out of necessity and you have your faction. The BOS and possibly the circle of steel ( for those that are new to the game, think of them as internal affairs for the BOS chapters, Christina from dead money is an example, tasked with hunting down Elijah), will come into play for your quests. Other BOS chapters from the east coast may try to hunt down the Enclave that have fled. So you already have some built in quests, and of course other factions that were friendly to the BOS will probably be enemies.
betabugger
I like the ideas devinpatterson. But what can you please suggest me on how the player should meet the Enclave Alliance and start the questline. But the remnants I'm talking about are not the old people. (They're soldiers from the East Coast Enclave who fled) I am also having a hard time pondering on the Enclave Alliance storyline. All I did on the mod so far is my bunker cave, npcs, navmesh, and side quests done. I do not plan on adding new weapons. If you want I can post the mod on the Nexus but it does not have the main quest line yet. If any of you guys of an idea how it starts please post here. Thank you. betabugger
Do you guys think it is okay to add the BOS Outcasts in the game or not? Because I think the Enclave and them should make alliances soon and form a new faction but with a similar foundation. I will also try to get permission from a guy's mod for his outcast armor. I will give him credit. I would give credit to anyone who helped me.Thanks.

He offers to ally with them and will ask the Courier for additional help. Do you guys think it is okay to add the BOS Outcasts in the game or not? The BOS Outcasts have already fought the Enclave in the Capital Wasteland and therefore won't exactly be open to an alliance. In addition, the BoS Outcasts simply do not have the resources or manpower to launch another nationwide trek.
