CTD going into Hrodalf's basement (Dragonborn DLC)

.... And he's back.

 

I've been playing with a mix of mods that have been @99% CTD-free. But I've come to Hrodalf's House on Solstheim. For some reason, trying to go into the basement causes a CTD. Anyone else encounter this very consistent bug?

Rather than start another thread, I decided I'd just make a second post, since this is for the same game.

 

For some unfathomable reason, the Crouch mechanic has gone wonky. Normally that would be a toggle of the Left Control key. But for some reason, the Dragonborn has become stuck in a crouch posture, BUT the cursor indicator is for standing up. I could live with that, but now the character can no longer mine an ore vein, and probably a number of other activities as well.

 

I avoided the CTDs at Hrodalf's by simply NOT entering the cellar, and I haven't had any CTDs since then. But now that the glitches are starting to snowball, I'm thinking that the game may very probably become unplayable.

QUERY: Are there any known Dragonborn DLC bugs concerning the inability to mine some very specific ore deposits? I've encountered two different locations where, when I try to mine the deposit by pressing "E", the graphics just show the main character standing there, motionless, instead of the usual clip of swinging the pick axe. If I persist in trying to force the mining to occur by repeatedly hitting "E", _then_ that stuck-in-crouch-while-the-cursor-shows-me-standing kicks in. (I've learned that if the mining doesn't start, DON'T FORCE IT.)
