wolfpack91 Posted July 21, 2013 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Ok i just recently got permission from a mod author to make a Project nevada patch for the helmets in his mod. while i have the script and quest created and saved properly, the items are disapearing from the ESP and it is not flagging the Original ESP as a master to it (which is y im assuming the items are disapearing) is there something i am missing? a step i haven't taken that is required? How do you use armors from esp's to make a patch in a new esp? any help would be nice. the parent mod is not yet complete (but is on the nexus) so i wont be able to upload the final patch until the mod is in its final, but i would like to atleast have a head start into it and Update it as new updates for the parent mod come outbut i am stumped as to why its not flagging it as a master and saving the helmets Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
blove Posted July 21, 2013 Share Posted July 21, 2013 GECK does not save plugins as masters to plugins. You have to flip the ESM flag for the plugin that will be a master in FNVEdit, load the masters and your plugin in GECK, make your edits, save, and then revert the ESM flag change for that would be master plugin.
