Tank0123
I tend to jump between these four (with random bouts of Medieval 2 Total War, but we'll exclude that one). Simply, I'm getting more interesting in playing a zombie-survival mod/playthrough with one of these, and not just a short one either.I'm getting tired of Fallout 3, as that is the latest of them that I have been playing. I just got through with Mothership Zeta Crew and several of it's add-ons, but now it's just not holding my attention. I think the location is great -- the ruins of DC, the danger of FWE and MMM together, calling in reinforcements with TSC Air Support and all that nonsense. There is Zombie Apocalypse mod, but...eh. I think I've just had too much Fallout 3.There's New Vegas, but I've tried playing it's zombie mods to no avail, and that's my fault really. I have Freeside Open, so I can't get to the starter for it. Plus, New Vegas was what I played before I drifted over to Fallout 3, so eh. If there is some new or interesting quest/gameplay changer, I might go back, but not now.Oblivion, as I've played before, has a really good zombie mod, 28 Days, and it's well developed. I like the animations and graphics of it (yes they are notoriously bad, but whatever). The only problem is that there aren't many options to actually interact with the game world; simply put, it's an old game, the oldest one out of the four, and there's not much to do with that. There IS Skyrim, and it's got the most choice for Zombie mods, the most extra mods, better graphics, etc. The only thing, and hear me out on this: the havoking for dead bodies is really bad. Everything is just so...stiff. It's not like Oblivion or the Fallouts where the bodies contort oddly; corpses in skyrim act like they have superglue in their joints and concrete running through their veins. It's just nasty looking, and doesn't feel like what I'm used to. Plus, there's the issue of FPS; I can build my fortress with Tundra Defense, fight over hordes of enemies, etc, but the crashes and lag are most frequent on Skyrim, especially with bigger mods running like Warzones. I know, I should shut them off if it's killing my computer, but they are what make the game so fun. Finally, Skyrim is kind of boring as a location. I might try Tropical Skyrim or something, though; there's not much that anyone here can suggest outside of landscape overhauls anyway. So what'll it be?
