Survival mode's Sleep-to-Save

I was wondering if anyone's taken a stab at replicating FO4's survival mode's save system? I.e., to save you need to sleep in a bed (because of the inevitability of crashes, I still run an autosave manager when playing by these rules). Even better if it were tweaked (like by offering some expensive/resource-intensive consumable alternative).

 

Additionally, it would be cool to see the other aspect of Survival sleeping ported, namely the chance to catch a disease (or some debuff).
