LE Appearance Armor

I am curious to know what it would take to create "Appearance Armor" slots in Skyrim. In a lot of MMOs they have the ability to wear two sets of armor. The first set is your traditional armor slot, just like in today's world. The second would be an Appearance Armor slot, which would override only the look of the armor equipped in the same slot of the traditional armor.

 

For instance, if you have an entire suite of Dragon Bone Armor, fully upgraded and enchanted, but you preferred the way Dwemer Armor looks, you could put the Dwemer Armor in the Appearance Slot and gain the look of the armor but keep the stats from the Dragon Bone. If you are wearing nothing in the Appearance Slot, then the armor that you have on in the regular slot would show.

 

Also, request number two, if it is possible to make a mod for Appearance Armor, I would like to have an "armor" made that has the appearance of not wearing any armor in that specific slot. Using the same, above, example: you have the stats of Dragon Bone Armor but want to appear to have common cloth pants with no shoes, shirt, gloves or helm. Or more realistically, you want to get the full bonus of the Dragon Bone armor from your heavy armor perk, but you want the Dwemer Armor look without a helmet on.

 

Any help, suggestions or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

There is a mod called "hmm what to wear"

Or something like that it is on the Nexus.

You can have an iron armor masking. That holds all the stats and the enchantment and it is invisible.

And then use the pieces for the deemed or hide armor forthe appearance.

You can look like light armor but have the effects of heavy. Or any other combination.
