Halororor Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Woah. I haven't played a game this good (and scary) in quite some time. I've absolutely fallen in love with it, even though I have to clean my pants after every time I play ;) I love the controls, the story and the combat is just excellent. They scare you at the right times and hold you in suspense at the right times. Probably the most scary times in this game is when nothing is actually happening and you're waiting for the inevitable crap your pants moment. What do you guys think about it?
BlackDragon66 Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Fantastic game. I am playing through now and loving it.
Halororor Posted February 22, 2009 Author Posted February 22, 2009 I just finished it! What a cliffhanger ending. Expected the end boss to be a bit more difficult, but it was fun all the same. And the thing with your wife, really caught me by surprise. Goodbye for now, I'm starting over again. Now I've got the military suit!
Birrii Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Dead Space is really a freaky game. Honestly. I once played it on my Xbox 360. It was night and very dark (of course :P). I was frightened several times. I mean like, you go slowly and then, suddenly, A MONSTER APPEARS!This is the only game that has succesfully scared me. Birrii
Derkins Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I loved the game but I was not too scared. I blame this on my mom because she loved to scare me as a kid. I also love games and I am a very determined player and focused lol.
Thor. Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Dead Space is a really cool game not freaked out about at all, i guess im kind of amune to that stuff, to many scary movies lol . I beat it at least once so far and on my second time round, playing the ps3 version. Note there is some cool downloadable content for the ps3 version, like suit upgrades.
IamBatosai Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I played it once. And pretty much hated it. =/ Just didn't like it. Wasn't that scary. Maybe I'll try it again if I'm bored someday.
Monolithic0117 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I really liked the atmosphere and gameplay, but the horror element was a bit weak. Never the less, it was still a very enjoyable game, and probably one of my favorite aspects was the boss battles. Too bad they didn't port the DLC to PC.
