[LE] Try modding an NPC - creates new instead

I have tried to change the race and appearance of a NPC from a mod but instead of modding the NPC I create a new one, with an own Eidtor ID. I have done modified npc's several times before with npc's from skyrim.esm. I suppose this problem has something to do with with the npc origin from plugin file. Is there I way to solve this?

This was pretty obvious! When I edit a NPC from a esp-file, I need to save the changes in that esp-file. Not creating a new esp as I would do when modifying npcs from an esm-file.

I wish I realized this before publishin this topc.
