ESF Companions CTD issue

I've been trying to get Enhanced Skyrim Factions: Companions to work but Skyrim CTDs any time I go outside, even if it's not in Whiterun or anywhere else. Almost anywhere indoors works, it's only outdoors that makes me CTD, but that still means that I cannot play the game.

I am trying to use ESF because I want to be able to play the Companions without becoming a Werewolf(I am a Vampire and use Better Vampires and refuse to lose my vampire rank progress). If there is another mod that allows you to continue the Companions questline without becoming a werewolf, I am unaware of it.

 

I've joined the Companions but haven't done any quest other than the very first one where you give Aela her shield. I've done testing and know that it's ESF that is causing the CTDs, but I don't know if it's because the mod is inherently unstable or if there is another mod of mine that's conflicting with it.

 

Any insight will be appreciated.

I downloaded the mod too bec i felt it was too rushed becoming the harbinger,now after the mission glory of the dead and waiting at jorvaskr for 2 days, the 3 members never come home, i check ysgramors tomb and lo and behold, they are still communing there.also aela, vilkas or farkas never have the "interested in me,are you" option. Ugh. I'm going back to day 1, doing another playthrough
