Spells as ESL?

There is an easy way to find out. Open ssedit, the tool that you no doubt no about, right clicking anywhere along the mod list and clicking 'apply script'. It doesn't matter which mod you select, as the script you want will run through all of the mods you've had ssedit load in. Then run the script called 'Find esp plugins that can be turned into esl'. Straightforward. After that, the script will run through them all, and the mods that you can, in fact, turn into esls will have this said:

'Can be turned into esl by adding esl flag into tes header.'

The scanner thinks patches can be turned into esls, but they can't as they'd be overwritten. Anything that says anything other than what I've stated requires more work than is otherwise worthwhile. Most spell mods I've seen have too many files and references to be eslified, but yours might be. Run the scanner and find out. There is a way to do so manually, but it's a bit difficult.
