Teleport to npc

I'd like a spell that will allow me to teleport to certain npcs. For example, Vex in the ragged flagon. Or Urag geo sub, the college librarian. For many quests, you currently have to fast travel to their city, and then wait through two more loading screens just to deliver a book or give Vex an item.

There is a consul command "player. Move to" and then the box reference I'd.

Can anyone turn this into a spell to save us all time on losing screens??

Bonus points if you can "learn" other npcs. It could help save time looking for lost companions. ( looks over and glares at Lydia and Gregor...)

Wow thats like the most lazy mod Ive ever heard. People wont even bother fast traveling(which is lazy enough!) anymore. This mod would totally ruin the immersion that you are supposed to get from the game. If it were up to me there would be no fast travel at all. I would still put in carraiges to please the lazies but I wouldn't use it myself. Plus your pc must be pretty slow if you are complaining about loading screens. Ive got a less than mediocre pc and loading screens take at max 10 seconds.

I think you are right on all counts Bozz.

Yes, my pc could use some improvements. (is the load time based on the hard drive? or CPU?)

I've had some challenges with Skyrim crashing to desktop. I'm sure the problem is the result of a mod I loaded or maybe my load order. I'm still working on that but have not solved it yet. It seems to happen most often when I open a door to enter a player home or a new area. So I now wince, grit my teeth, cross my fingers and pray every time i have to go see either Vex or Devon at the Thieves guild, because I know I'm probably going to see my desktop before I see Vex.

(I partially solved this by taking a screen shot of Vex and then making that my desktop wallpaper. But I feel like there is still room for improvement here.)

I'm new to the world of the Elder Scrolls, and I completely respect the desire for immersion in this world. I've only played Skyrim, and I think I enjoy the mods as much as I enjoy the vanilla game.

As for my idea of teleporting directly to someone... I really don't want to brag here, Buuutt.....

I just so happen to be Dragon born. AND I'm the Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold. So,... I'm kind of a big deal.

If the Phygic monks can teleport to me after I recovered the Eye of Magnus (again not braggin', just sayin' the Eye didn't save itself.) Then I'd like to be able to learn that skill, since it is possible and Lore friendly to move through dimensions.

I can summon Flame girls and Daedra from another dimension.

Heck, I can even summon a horse and a Dragon from the Soul Carin. (again, not braggin' just sayin'.)

So if I can teleport Them to me, I feel like my Magical-mojo should allow me to open up a portal, travel through it, and then track someone's life essence like a thread, and POOF! I appear in a puff of smoke.

This power would allow me to teleport in and talk to people without spending time on the loading screens, which - for me - tend to break up the enjoyment.

Cheers!

Well as the saying goes, you can rationalize anything. But anyway I dont really care what mods you use (no offense) but I just think that the mod would hinder my gameplay experience. Yes I know I just dont download it and problem solved. At any rate, it could be done. I might do it as a scripting project as I am trying to get better at modding.

This would be great for the Thieves guild quests for Vex and Delvin since you have to go back over and over.

I also play for immersion, but when I want to just run through tedious tasks these kind of mods come to mind. I want to be guild master without wasting hours of traveling being bored.

So yeah, teleport to npc or teleport to Ragged Flagon or Library etc would be good for some people.
