game gets stuck in a loadscreen loop after trying to load a save file with mods installed

basically, i'm looking for some help to troubleshoot and fix this issue that i have been having after downloading and installing a bunch of mods for the witcher 3 at some point last year, i think i started a new game and saved it fairly early on with the mods installed, however now when i try to load any save file with the mods active, it just gets stuck at ~35-40% loaded and stays in that state indefinitely, i can't even open task manager as the fullscreen does not shrink or allow overlays so i'm forced to log out of my account to force shutdown all apps etc, i have tried enabling them all one at a time but no luck finding which one(s) are causing this issue as individually they all load fine and it's only when i have more than ~12-15 mods enabled from a 20+ total installed do i get this issue, is it something to do with how many mods are running?, is it something to do with the mods themselves, vortex shows no dependency issues and there's no file conflicts that i can see so i'm at a loss honestly, majority of the mods are the nude mods for the game and better textures overall, as well as the usual teleport anywhere and 'infinite' inventory space etc, so any help would be appreciated because while i have completed the base game dozens of times i have yet to do so with a fully modded version with the things i want changed to suit my liking etc.
