Ok, well I'm the newest member here and I'm going to start by saying that I know absolutely nothing about the construction set. I haven't really spent much time trying to learn, but I'm usually pretty busy and it's hard to find time to play the game as is. Anyway, I had this new idea for a mod- actually, I'm not sure if it's new or not. For all I know somebody could have already done this. Or, hell, maybe it isn't even possible, but if it is I'd really appreciate it if somebody gave it a try. I happen to like the idea of thieving in Morrowind and being a criminal in general. But one thing I don't get is how people can recognize you even if you're completely covered head to toe in armor. If a guard sees you steal something while you're completely covered and you run off and, say, quickly change into something else, it stands to reason that you won't be recognized by that same guard later. Makes sense, right? Unfortunately the creators of the game didn't see it that way. Not only that, but EVERYONE IN THE WORLD suddenly knows you're a criminal. Even people you've never met before. I dunno, maybe the guards are actually hiding police radios inside those helms and can contact one another from all the way across the world. Truth is, I'm completely disgusted by all this. It's my biggest beef with Morrowind, and it's so damned unrealistic it's pathetic. I'm sure that most of you will agree with me. So I have a couple of requests: if anyone knows of a mod that changes this, please tell me where to get it. And if one does not exist, can someone please try to make one? I'd appreciate it, and I know a lot of other players would as well.

I'm not sure if it can be done. However it may be possible to at least partially achieve. Really I'd also like for someone to create a mod to improve these features. Such changes could make the game play for thief characters more fun.

 

I think there are some mods that improve the game play for thief characters somewhat. However I feel a single separate mod for improving the general game play, that doesn't add graphics or make any other changes might be better.
