ENBoost newbie questions

Hello there

 

I have seen this mod on the Nexus called ENBoost which seems to increase performance for heavily modded games. ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649//? )

 

Myself, I have a rather heavily modded game and I'm planning to add even more mods, so I think this is suitable for me, but I'm not sure.

 

1 problem though, I don't use an ENB and it seems to be required to use one in order to make this work. I just want to use this booster because I use many HD textures. (But I don't use any ENB though.)

 

I'm really newbie when it comes to ENBs (never used one).

 

So, I'm looking for a suitable ENB which works with both Climates of Tamriel and this booster.

 

I read the mod page, but some things weren't that clear to me though.

Questions:

 

1. With this setup, will I get any benefit from using the ENBooster?

2. The mod page says I need ENBSeries 0.193 (WrapperVersion). I have downloaded it but I don't know exactly what it does. I am assuming this is an ENB?

3. Which ENB (if I do need one!) works well with both Climates of Tamriel and this booster?

4. Are there any settings in the ini I should tweak?

I just downloaded the ENBoost. I do not use a ENB. I actually use FXAA Injector. This actually worked. Better. I actually activated only the SSAO and AF for this ENB and kept everything else to the FXAA Injector.

Here is with the ENBoost, using FXAA Injector with my own settings, activated SSAO in the ENBseries file. You can see in the upper left corner of each pic solid 60FPS

I'm planning on using this with ULO: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37846/?

 

I'll change the name of ULO's d3d9.dll to ULO_d3d9.dll.

 

Then I copy enblocal.ini in my Skyrim folder and change the following settings:

2. I don't need to download and extract the Wrapper version of ENBseries 0.193 when using ULO?
