Edited an ESL-flagged plugin, help please.

I recently made some changes in the CK to an ESL-flagged plugin I downloaded, and now LOOT is telling me that there are form ids beyond the accepted range and my saves will be corrupted. So this sounds bad.

 

How do I salvage the situation? Can I just remove the ESL flag through SSEEdit? (All I did was to remove some static items and plants and replaced them with other statics and plants - just for my own personal use). Thanks.

just re-compact the form IDs in Creation kit (or xEdit, as it is easier and works better) and you'll be good to go, so long as you've not hit the record limit for ESLs. Just make sure to recheck any patches that rely on the edited file when you get done.
