Roguespear Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 First, it would be helpful to know the specs of your system, but a damaged or corrupt hard drive would be the next place to look as other people have suggested, I would recommend that you go to the companies web site that manufactured your hard drive and see if they have diagnostic tools, they are usually free and are much much better than the tired but venerable check disk. The long boot interval could be a piece of hardware or a driver that is delaying the post (power on self test) when you boot. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
