Walpurian Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Hi fellas, I bought witcher 2 extended edition via steam 4 days ago, but while in game i got always random freeze with crash and when i was thrown back to desktop, i face with Visual C errors (assertion failed with file .\HBAO_DX9_LIB.cpp line 358). I changed all settings "lower or higher" but it still keeps giving me the same error. I googled it but i could only 2 topic related to this which one of them is polish that i couldn't understand and other one is not answerd. İ got Intel® Core i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz, 16 gb ram, i got 2 graphic card unit 1 of them is onboard intel® graphics hd 4000 and otherone is nvidia gt 650m graphic card, as operatin system i use windows 8 64 bit.all drivers are updated, and game is patched to 3.2 I also set nvidia gt 650m as priority device on nvidia settings. I was not able to get past the crashing section simply by disabling SSAO, but I was after changing the graphics preset to Low. After getting to a new save point, I'm turning them back to High.
