icehair Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 I've played through New Vegas once (with very few mods) as an NCR-supporting sniper character. Now I was planning to try my hand at a fresh, different character. I'm thinking supporting the Legion and adopting another combat-style, maybe melee or unarmed or even explosives (suggestions welcome!) However, I don't want to do a lot of the quests, especially the side quests, all over again, so I'm looking for some more quests or cool "things to do" in addition to Legion main quest stuff. Can anyone recommend any good quest mods for a beginning character to do alongside the Legion? NB: I have only New Vegas itself, none of the DLCs. Thanks in advance! HarrowedRed Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 Well what I suggest would to use mods which level up as you do. basically mods that allow you access to better gear and/or features as you reach a higher level. A lot of weapon/armour mods just put all their gear in at one go at make them accessible from the start. From the sounds of it, you want your game experience to be heavily based of the NCR and Legion, so go for those kind of mods. There's one called "Ceasar's New Regime - Legion Overhaul" - http://www.newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45557 which is a mass overhaul of Ceasar's legion, and there's also one for the NCR. Also there's a quest mod which expands on the powder gangers and sort of flows in with the vanilla quest.
