bben46
Welcome to Tesnexus If you downloaded directly into the Oblivion sub folder, That's where you should find them. Although that is not a good place to download to. Mods do not automatically install themselves when downloaded. They must be unzipped and placed in the proper places. Windows, unless told otherwise, places all downloads into a download folder in your Documents and settings folder. Make a sub folder there and name it something like Oblivion Downloads. Set your download program to allow you to specify where each download goes to keep things organized. Now, MOVE the mods you already downloaded there. They will have extensions like .7z or .RAR - look for files the look like Mod-name.7z or Mod-name.rar and move them. Now, you must have a program that extracts (unzipps) these so the game can recognize them. I use and recommend 7-zip. It's free and available right here on Tesnexus. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15579 (click on the highlighted part to be taken to the download.) For a short tutorial on how to get mods to work, I have a set of help files for people new to mods. They include downloading, extracting (unzipping) installing and activating mods. I have included a sample mod to practice on and instructions for installing and using 7-zip. If you are interested, click on the highlighted link below to be taken to the site where they are kept. I recommend starting with #1 and working your way through them. http://s1.zetaboards.com/TheStormRavenLibrary/forum/256092/
