Wendigon
If you can read this, please help. My character is extremely high level (89) and could and can do alot with ease, but in the beginning, i accidentally bartered my papers for the main quest. I have tried killing the shop owner, but was unsuccesfull in aquiring my papers. If you know what to do or have a logical guess, please respond, preferably not through e-mail, but i'll be checking i here. Make shure i know its for me. Oh, and i tried almost any of the obvious things, like asking the guy, the people, everything.
Malchik
You can complete the main quest by the back route unless you have killed off the dwarf in the corprusarium. Kill Vivec and take the 'dwemer artifact' to the dwarf. He needs to have a reasonably high disposition towards you. You'll need to visit four citadels inside the Ghostgate (not Dagoth Ur yet). Collect two weapons, Sunder and Keening and two books, Kagrenac's journal and Kagrenac's planbook. The dwarf will make you a 'wraithguard' and you can go to Dagoth Ur and finish him off. Turkeymoo
You could always go into the editor and make a mod that gives you the papers back. You could save with the papers from the mod you made in your inventory then disable the mod and still have the papers. The Construction set will solve 99% of the problems like that you have in Morrowind.
Maquissar
You can always: 1) Get the papers back via console;2) Complete the main quest with the back route that Malchik described;3) Start a new game with a new and completely different character, and try topay more attention to what the NPCs tell you. A new game means new challenges and new styles of playing... and if your levelis really THAT high and you're that good, completing the main quest now wouldn't be as fun as it would with an average level character. EDIT: (Off topic) Yay! 350 posts! I am a warrior now ;)
