devinpatterson
Personally, I would stray from requests for the time being, and start with vanilla weapons ordered via leveled lists. (ie, 9mm pistol, kitchen knives, dynamite, and varmint rifle being the first ones completed) Meh. Not saying it doesn't make sense and I appreciate the advice, but if I was going to do a group, it'd definitely be apocalyptic cowboy. Selfish me. DylanF1
If you could you should add a rifle sling, for the rifles to be on the player's back properly. Like possibly the one from Red Dead Redemption: http://cdn2-b.examiner.com/sites/default/files/styles/large_lightbox/hash/23/22/23223a341e6b80884f5ea64f84d158e0.jpg?itok=NxBk3XeI

It's hard to do one with a strap unless it's with one specific outfit. Otherwise it clips and gets covered by bulkier armor.
DylanF1
Yeah, I noticed how that could be a problem.
KamSolastor
Tbh, similar along this line of thought, I'd love to see some 'slings' or other web gear, along with changing the animations for holstering weapons on your back from being diagonal to being horizontal (i.e. instead of weapons slung from one shoulder to opposite hip, they would be slung from right shoulder to right hip, a bit off the center of your back) so that holstering your weapons looks a lot more natural when used with all the various backpack mods. maybenexttime
Could you provide instructions how to do this? I have one particular rifle that I would want it to show. I think it will fit fine where the brush gun is.

I think it will fit fine where the brush gun is. Sure. So rig the model (use the go model so you don't have to remove any nodes) to a single bone (all vertices, spine 2) like a piece of armor. You may have to play with the orientation a bit in nifskope to make it look right in game. I used X97 Y27 Z-2 R96 for the brushgun. Make sure and add the script in the mod (changing the model name) to the weapon and that it occupies a body slot (unless this is the only weapon you want displayed). assaultdrone
Not sure if this is still active, but would a laser rifle be possible soon? Shouldn't take too much tweaking from the brush gun.

Yeah been meaning to get the rifles out, but at the moment, I can't tell you when I'll have time to do it.
