Georgiegril Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hi, I am trying to put B1gBadDaddy's Practice Targets into my mod. (This is permitted by him explicitly on his mod page, of course I will give him credit, should I succeed.) The problem is that the CK seems to be unable to locate the scripts his mod adds. With his mod selected and mine activated (along with required .esms) I can locate his target activator and put it into my cavern. If I open up his activator and click on the scripts tab, I can see the name of the script he added. But if I try to open his script--either to look at the source, or the properties, the CK says the script does not exist. If I open up the script manager, the script's title does not appear in the list.If I open the compliler, likewise, the script will not appear on the scripts to compile. If I open up my data\scripts folder, the script does not appear on the list. I have tried opening up Skyrim with the mod added, thinking that maybe I would actually need to do that for skyrim to read the script and add it into the folder, but no dice. I am new to scripting and while I have had some successes adding scripts manually, I have never tried extracting a script from another mod. I suspect there is something obvious I am missing-- I would be extremely grateful for some advice. Thanks for reading this!
ripple Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 (edited) Do you have the source files for the script (*.psc)? If it's archived in a BSA, you would need to extract the script into the following folder ".../data/scripts/source/" Edited July 29, 2013 by ripple
