LE Body Scars

I have a character who cannonically has a large scar on her body, but I thought this concept might be interesting for anyone who wants their character to have a reminder from some giant dragon fight or maybe wants their character to have been mauled by a bear... or a sword or an axe or something. Stuff that would leave a permanent reminder like, bear claw across the back, sword scars on the chest, dragonclaw from the hip to the navel... etc.

 

Thinking about the best way to do this (forgive me if any of these are impossible, my experience is near zilch):

• Could be painted onto the skin? I think this might be the 'easiest' way, but then unless you set the skin texture to be individual (which sounds not easy) then everyone using that texture gets a nasty scar.
• Equippable? I believe Nuska did something like this for her body tattoos, but I have no clue how that works. It'd be a pain to get it x-compatable with bodytypes and races and genders and all the other body meshes (UNP, CBBE, etc).
• ??? It is a mystery???
