Enferno33
Hi, I am brand new to these forums, but I have been modding games for years. I have edited some very great mods by all the amazing people who share them with us. I have created my own armor, items, spells, etc. HOWEVER, I cannot for the life of me find the files to edit / create / change to make Vampirism work. What I mean is, i'd like to know where to go in order to tell the stages / effects of Vampirism and Feeding. I.E. When I feed, it adds this or takes away that. I.E. When I gain Vampirism it grants this or takes that. I guess what I mean is the actual script / file that puts all the triggers, spells, effects together. I know where all the powers, lesser powers, spells, buffs, debuffs are, but cannot find the file(s) that ties them all together or the actual feeding / vampirism effect file. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks :)

You will likely need a fair amount of scripting ability to do anything particularly useful here. The scripts aren't the easiest to decode and sort out if you aren't familiar with how scripts are setup in Oblivion. Even when you do, it can be a bit confusing since there a few unusual counters, and alot of text and components which deal with other aspects of the disease. There are several, rather good vampirism overhauls around. Your best bet might be to just make your items a standalone component, and just use whichever one suits you best. Enferno33
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I know a bit about scripting (plus i'm a fast learner :)). What program or what folder to I go into in order to find the "Vampirism" script that ties all the effects / spells / etc together, please? Do I use the Construction set or do I need another program(s)? Thanks again for the help! **EDIT** I may have just found it myself, I right-clicked on "Vampirism" and chose "Info", it then showed me the script files. Is this where I need to edit? :) ***EDIT AGAIN*** I just figured it out, you just go to "Gameplay - Edit scripts" inside the construction set :) Thanks again for the reply :)
