Okay, so I tried to use the Skyrim, Xcom, and New Vegas site to download different mods from nexus... but for all the mods that I tried to download gave me this message,

Error

The site has run in to a problem, please look at the error message below...

No file exists for this ID.

I mean wtf. The error code was %2FError%2F%3Ferr%3Dfile_exist

Same here, it's with popular mods too (like The Inheritance). Had the same issue a couple of days ago with EVE, then after a good few hours it was fine again (although right before it was fine it started saying all of the mods that I checked weren't published yet)

I've got a similar issue :/ I've got the 'File does not exist' on Mod Manager, haven't tried manual just yet but on the Skyrim Mod Manager, mods download and install just fine and I've no idea what's goin' on, but it seems to be Fallout NV in specific for me.

Well, good news: It's happening to a lot of people. (So it's not an isolated issue) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/tracker/project-4-nexus-site-beta/

Bad news: There doesn't appear to be a solution yet.

It appears to have been happening since the servers were updated last week. My guess is that something somehow went wrong during that process. Hopefully it's fixed soon.

The sites are working for most people. Including the staff. And if we don't see your problem, it's difficult to figure out why you cannot do what we can. How about giving us some hints. Just saying , "It doesn't work" Is worse than useless - It doesn't tell us anything!!! :wallbash:

What are you doing that we are not? Or what are we doing that you are not?

Are you using a proxy?

What Antivirus?

What Browser? Version? 32 or 64 bit?

What firewall.

What windows version? 32 or 64 bit?

Are you using any ad blocking? Script blocking?

Is your Windows up to date? Including all .net frameworks updates?

How about the usual programs - are they all updated - flash? Adobe? Java?

Anything else that might help?

I successfully downloaded more than a few mods yesterday from the New Vegas Nexus, with zero problems, however I am now having this issue. I'm not quite sure what changed, but I'll try answering those questions..

I am not using a proxy

I'm using AdBlock for Google Chrome, though I disabled it for all Nexus pages to try to fix it, and it had no effect, even after restarting my computer

I'm using McAfee and possibly Absolute Data Protect (not sure if it's installed or not)

I'm using Google Chrome version 28.0.1500.95 m, I beleive 64 bit

I'm fairly sure my firewall is disabled atm

Windows 8, again, I beleive 64 bit

I'm not using any script blocking

I have not checked to see if my Windows is up to date, or any of my other programs, but the auto-updates haven't popped up, and I did just restart my computer, that's usually when it updates things

My Java and Flash are both up to date.

All else I can think of that might make any difference is that i'm running quite a lot of mods, it may be overloading or something of the sort

Thank you in advance
