Notsure122
my nmm doesn't want to work right. It could be my fault. I mean I could have missed that little green button that says download using nmm. you could say that this experience is proof that nmm isn't idiot proof. seriously, the other day I upgraded my nmm to 45.5 from 34. now I am aware that I should have been keeping up with my downloads. it didn't happen. let it go. after upgrading to 45.5 I received this message regarding nearly all of my mods. mod was deleted without being deactivated. I didn't delete any of them. your program deleted them. in each case I think that now my computer reads those mods as active because they are still in the registry. I did exactly what I would have done to install the game and nmm fresh I have no idea that I was doing anything wrong. ignorance is no excuse I suppose but now we need to move on and fix the problem as I have explained it. Notsure122
What I have learned is that the mod manager 45.5 does not delete the mod completely. once you delete a mod using mod manager 45.5 residual elements remain in the registry and that means you can't reload the mod after you have deleted it. At least that is what is happening with mine. I deleted all of my mods using mod manager 45.5 and then deleted 45.5 I then reloaded it and found that as I opened the mod manager it began to send messages saying each mod was deleted without being deactivated and it would replace those mods. first I clicked the check to deactivate them and then I clicked the red X to delete them. I have done that very same thing with older mod managers and it has worked. this is clearly 45.
