Noppius
most enbs use old binaries. if you want new enb boost features and shaders try enbs like this one: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24235/? it gets constantly updated and even has a companion module to ballance every cells light level to achieve the best effect.the companion module is compatible with all enb configs also!Yes, that is very true about the old binaries. I'm looking at your suggestion and it sounds very good. I'm gonna read all the info and see about trying it out. So thanks for the info and i'll get back here once i give it a try :) Kountervibe extensive is by far the best IMO(unless you delve into the older ones, which i dont reccomend) its hard to run, but worth it.Another nice suggestion but there is 1 problem with this one. It is VERY demanding on any system and i'm looking for a ENB that is beautiful, yes, but i also want to be able to keep playing the game and don't kill my system :) So thanks for the idea but i'm gonna give this one a miss. WOW you have the same video card as me! Granted my processor is an i7, I can recommend a few... Project enb - Super easy install if you don't know allot about moding. This is my preferred enb. It comes with allot of preset looks so you don't have to tweak anything as long as you're not super picky. This was the hardest on my system but I know for a fact your system can handle it as long as you don't mind playing at 30 fps. This enb focuses on blues and areas with shadows are more well-lit. It was built on making the world look beautiful, not as hardcore as the "realistic" enb despite that being a relative term.Downsides, uses an older d3d9.dll so might cause a few minor bugs here and there with a few mods that require the dll. easily worked around. Realvision - Another Super popular enb. Tried it out, and was impressed. Very easy on your system and adds a level of realism that is more accurate than Project enb while still enhancing the colors. Not allot to say because I prefer the screenshot-worthy unrealistic perfection of Project enb. Sunlight looks the best in this one by a landslide! The rays coming off the sun are just breathtaking. If you're going for immersion while still enhancing colors this one is probably for you. Sharpshooters enb - Many enbs make dark interiors and dark nights very difficult to get. This enb keeps dark places dark, and enchances the lit areas nicely. This was my least favorite simply for the fact that dark places are more accurately... well.. dark! Also check out GophersVids. He covers all the most popular enbs and hes extremely entertaining. His videos are allot more in-depth at explaining the differences than I am and he gives countless VISUAL examples of all enbs, and then shows them all with CoT and RLO installed. I was impressed by his work to say the least. EDIT: I saw you decided to try out realvision. Excellent choice!! I was re-watching video info on it and am considering using it myself :smile:Hey Jordan7890! Nice input for this discussion. The only problem i have with Project ENB is that it uses a very old binary and so you miss on all the improvements Boris did make to ENB-basic. So i removed that one with a bit off a tear but moved one to RealVision. Really great ENB and not too demanding on the system. I've played around with it and no big problems at all. The only thing that is bothering me is the very dark spots in dungeons when there is not light-source. As i mentioned earlier, this could be helped by installing another mod (keep forgetting the name but it makes it possible to wear a lantern on you gear, so you have a light-source and still can wield a sword and shield or so) or adjusting the settings of the ENB but that is a bit beyond my knowledge at the moment. So for now i'm looking at http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24235//? and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/40646/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D40646%26preview%3D&pUp=1 (oh my, long link  ) to see if any off those 2 can do what i want. As for the GopherVids, i'm a proud subscriber to that wonderful channel! This is one of the best channels i have found and he has a great voice. Also his take on teaching people how to mod and his very detailed explanations are a very welcome thing to the gaming community. Too many posters think you know all the stuff they have learned and just hit you with a lot of technical and speedy info that you just can't handle in the beginning. So thanks for your suggestions and your input here! Will be continued

yic17
An update ... even though I said I tried out many ENBs before, but I tried them without understanding how ENBoost works. These couple of days I finally figured out how ENBoost works with the new binaries. And because of ENBoost's ability to allow you to use all your memory, I would suggest using one of the newer ones. After trying out the newer ENBs, I ended up using E ENB Final Edition. I turned off DOF and use Dynavision like before - increases performance. Also the saturation is a little bit high for my taste so I manually lowered it. Besides that, I really like the shadow contrast this ENB provides. Be sure to set "VideoMemorySizeMb" in the enblocal.ini for ENBoost to take effect. The formula I use is RAM + vRAM divided by 2. It will allow you to have half your RAM for the game and half for the computer. Edited August 28, 2013 by yic17
