neveragain12345 Posted October 1, 2021 Share Posted October 1, 2021 I've been trying to get a TrapMagicCasterBase01/02 and both TrapNorFlamethrower and TrapDweFlamethrower to work. I've copied and pasted the traps along with their triggers into a cell, ensured that all active parents are pointed to the correct places, and triple checked the papyrus scripts for any issues. None of them work! I'm completely dumbfounded! One of the most frustrating issues is that the DummySoulGem (placed on top of the TrapMagicCasterBase) never appears. I've checked that my DummySoulGem's settings are identical to those in WarehouseTraps. Same with the TrapMagicCasterBase. I've tried using the same trigger box from WarehouseTraps with no luck, switched to a pressure plate - no luck. Tried activating about 10 different ways and nothing works. Something even more odd: when I duplicate the TrapMagicCasterBase01 and its DummySoulGem within WarehouseTraps and move the duplicate to the side of the original, the original works while the duplicate does nothing. All that I can think of is that there's a script somewhere that's doing some kind of setup on the DummySoulGem or the TrapMagicCasterBase that exists outside of those objects. Looks like quicksaves do a really good job at preserving application state because every quicksave would leave me with non-working traps no matter what changes I had madae in CK. After "coc warehousetraps" and about 10min of poking around, trying to determine what I missed, I returned to my cell and found all flamethrower traps working. Sadly, the TrapMagicCasterBase traps are still not working, still sitting empty with no soul gems. For me, this was progress. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
