Spartan0536
Modding isn't that easy i thought so at first until i took on my tactical simulation project for fallout out 3 which is still in pre-alpha and will probably beta hopefully in December of 2009. Modding takes time, dedication, resources, and adds in headaches, disappointments, changes to awesome ideas due to limitations. It is difficult, but if you finish it and do it correctly it is VERY WELL WORTH IT. These DLC take what the DEV's have and allow me to use it to my advantage as they have done most of the hard work for me, and its done "professionally" (note the quotations). Really the biggest thing Bethesda did was release the GECK so that modders can unite to make awesome ideas and some ridiculous ideas come true. However instead of Bethesda releasing another DLC I would like them to add to the GECK some animating options and Voice Over options in a friendly user interface, the only real problem with trying to get some guns in Fallout 3 stems from no available vanilla animations, some people have "hacked" animations to get it to work but that can cause conflicts with other active mods. So in retrospect I'm all for the DLC but i do think Bethesda should now release some "update" for the GECK to add in some new user features, after all games only live as long as there are people to make it longer, better, and more unique, Look at Half Life for example.
