Beatiful people mute

I downloaded recently the Beautiful People mod, it works fine but I have with it problems with voices. I am certain it comes from this mod, I tried deactivating it and using a player that wasn't affected by it and everything is back to normal. Note: I have encountered this in other face feature changing mods, such as liquid eyes mod and a hair mod in the past, i have taken them off before installing Beautiful People.

 

Quite simply, most voices are out of the game, especially those concerning quest characters. Typically, the emperor, baurus, or even jauffre have no voice. The text appears but no voice comes out. I have also found that it happens to my character, when attacking, even when i should scream, i make no sound at all, same for various enemies.

Some voices are still present, such as the guards or some salesmen, or beggars.

 

Now this is quite unfortunate...has anyone been experiencing the same problem? If yes how can you solve it?

 

PS: this may be related to the fact that i'm using a french version of oblivion, and that the file storage or something may be different. (note that those who do speak still use french voices as normal...)

Beautiful people causes quite a few problems,its a mod thats been around for a long time and to my knowledge never updated. I stopped using it a long while back because of the problems with it.

I have seen other problems with beautiful people, but not this one. It usually causes problems with eyes or hair when you have another 'beauty' mod installed. Is the one you installed a part of a compilation of mods? such a s Soya hair + Beautiful people?

ok i've found my problem, most folders are named differently in french, and so for some reason since beautiful people changes the folder names in the paths for voices to english names, he couldn't find them....

 

mmm, hard to solve, but doable
