bring back lighted grass by torches

I know it's an old post but I noticed that magic light, like mage-light or candle-light, DOES cast light on otherwise black grass at nights.

So, knowing this, maybe it's possible to create torches that call the a "magic-light" function?

This guy made a beta mod that fixes this for SSE, maybe the beggining of the end for my(our?) greatest pet peev?

If only there was a way to do it without ENB. Every single one I use causes massive fps loss. I'm running Obsidian Weathers + Lanterns of Skyrim II + Great Forests of Whiterun Hold + Dense Nordic Forest + SSELODgen and it's amazing, but that damn grass when torch light hits hit makes me want to throw up. All the plants can receive torch light it seems. Maybe if there was a way to make the engine treat the grass like the plants. All I know is after three hours researching how to light up the grass with no solution... I literally want to light up some grass here at home.
